Bright and early, we carefully put back all the chotchkies in the 80's beach apartment and emptied the fridge of it's last items. Yaya, Justin, Mika and I jammed way too many bags in Yaya's car and got on our way. Swallowed some more tears and said bye to Yaya. Jacksonville airport proved to be, once again, the best airport for security. These people take pride in speedy security lines and have a family line. I know it's totally exciting blog material, but I'm just sayin'.
Our first flight attendant was soooo nice. She gave mika a box of cookies and a bottle of water and took our photo. So here it is folks. The beginning of our journey to Hawaii. Oh and Look how lightly we packed!!!!!
*What has become of us? Never again will I travel with this much. never again. It was only 2 years ago they picked us out of the security line to go through the "Expert Traveler" line!"
** Also falling into the "what has become of us category"... Justin rented a minivan in Arizona. I said "How much did this upgrade cost us?" He responded with a huge smile and said, "I thought we deserved a little treat." Sadly, I agreed. hahahahah. Dad, I know you are proud.
