Kayaking with Abba
Our next visitor was our dear friend ABBA! Along with Aby came 2 weeks of Oahu's worst weather in decades. Woot Woot! We stalked the weather radar maps and all we would see was a giant green rain blob covering the island. We still had tons of fun, so that says a lot about how much we love hanging with Aby. After a week of the torrential down pour we started to get a little crazy and decided we would get a babysitter for Mika and kayak in the rain sans-toddler. The rain seemed to stay mostly on the island and not out on the ocean... and we were rewarded with FIVE sea turtles! At one point Aby and I were so excited about the turtles we forgot to steer the kayak to shore.
