Aby wanted to hike to the top of Diamond Head to see the sunrise. We woke up earlier than Mika and hiked to the top with 2 thousand Japanese tourists in non-hiking shoes. haha. Anyway, we had a bonding moment when after all the storms, the sun poked it's head out through the clouds. Everyone started to cheer and celebrate.

After our strenuous hike and tourist dodging, we stumbled upon the
Kapiolani Farmers Market. Ohhhh my heavens!!!!!!!!! It was a foodie
wonderland until we realized they only take cash and we had just a wee
little 20$ on us. So we scoped out the whole market, discovered that local
hawaiian coffee had a credit card machine... and then we discovered... Strawberry
Mochi! and Haupia Mochi. Oh the dilemma of deciding. Then as we were
trying to decide, a nice local girl BOUGHT us a package and yelled,
"Enjoy!" and walked away. It is bascially a giant ripe strawberry with
azuki beans and then wrapped in fresh Mochi. yes. yes. and yes.
(whenever mika sees this photo she says "Aby eating a Rock") We also got
ourselves a farmers market omelet on rice and pineapple smoothies with
our 20 bones.
