Admist the chaos, we decided we should squeeze in NYC one last time. Why? "because we could" And so glad we did! We got a home cooked meal from Rosi and Jeremy (can we say fresh grilled calamari?!) It's been years of being in different cities for the two of us. So glad to finally get to hang out. We also got to finally see her amazing apartment.
Then we visited and stayed the night with Kristen and Ray... another amazing apartment. Mika adores them, and they adore mika, so it's a great time every time. Mika taught them about the gloriousness of apples and tried to steal their basketball and Ray's stuffed monkey from childhood. One thing for sure- Mika is a city girl at heart, like here mama!
Justin took one for the team and gave me the night out and we went to Rockwood, met up with some old friends, and got to see live music for the first time in almost a year. GASP. never again should those words come from my mouth.
Then on Sunday we drove to Long Island and saw Josh star in Guys and Dolls. All in all an amazing fun filled getaway. siiiiiigh. Did I mention I love NYC and our friends there?
Did I also mention Mika likes to kiss "MEEEEKAAAAAAAH!!!!" In the mirror?
