The rally for sanity weekend...

Ironically, the rally for sanity almost sent me into insanity. Mika and I just couldn't miss out on the many family members in one place from Washington State, NYC, and DC area... Flying with a baby alone is a true test of endurance and patience.

Especially when they poop during take off. Waiting for that seat belt light to turn off felt like an eternity. Changing Mika in the small bathroom was a challenge too! Mika and I flew down to get a couple days in with some family. We got to visit with Uncle Bri Bri, thanks for picking us up and getting us lunch, Cousin Brandon, Cousin Mattie, the Fujiwaras, the Pfeiffer girls, Great Aunt April (and friend Colleen), Cousin Brina, Cousin Carter, Nana, Grandpa Whitney, Obaachan, Papa Miguel, and great grandpa Ojiichan. All of us, a caregiver, and four loud barking dogs= almost insanity. :) It was great to see so much family in one place though, and we got to celebrate Ojiichan's 91st birthday! Thanks for having us all over at your house Obaachan (Kei, Mom, Grammy) and Miguel!

** These are the only four photos from the whole weekend- how can that be? Can someone send me more please? thanks!

On a side note. It was nice to see Jasper, after his disappearing act. In case you were not aware- mom called me the other day to let me know that Jasper was missing and probably either eaten by a hawk or abducted. It was a horrible day with a wonderful ending... After hours of searching, calling his name (michael even left work early), making posters, calling neighbors and vets, Jasper just showed up at dinner. :)
